Welcome

Welcome to our new-look website. Please take a look at some of the activities that WBS has been involved with during 2010 and what’s coming up in 2011.

Trans-National European Project with GMB

WBS has been privileged to work in partnership with GMB Scotland for the past 3 years developing and delivering a pan-European project in the food and drink industry across Scotland, Hungary and Poland.

This project has grown from one directed at increasing the skills trade union representatives, to a partnership approach of unions and employers working to improve the efficiency and performance of the industry. Exchange of knowledge and learning and the creation of exemplar learning materials, is at the heart of this project. 2010 has seen a very successful project unfold.

GMB Scotland has just learned that it has secured a new and exciting European project for 2011 which will focus on the Employee Appraisal process to support high performance in business. WBS will be GMB’s delivery partner in this project.

If you require support with applications to the European Union for any of their budget lines please contact stephy@go2wbs.com

Employability Learning Network and the Scottish Government

WBS designed and implemented a Monitoring and Evaluation Framework for 25 + employability partnerships across Scotland.

This is the EPSA online competency based ‘Employability Partnership Self-Assessment’ framework used by local authority partnerships as a baseline during 2009 and again during 2010 to measure their learning and improvement journey. During 2010 we were also involved in developing online support materials in the form of Case Studies, How to Guides and Capacity building workshops.
