About WBS & Partners

At WBS & Partners we aim to create smarter people for successful business

WBS is a leading provider of employee and organisational development. Since our establishment in 1997 (as a social enterprise Workbase Scotland), we have developed over 13,500 employees, within more than 120 companies and organisations, ranging from small to very large enterprises.

Our experience extends to the Private, Public and Voluntary and sectors where we support and development of the skills, behaviours, and attitudes that allow people to contribute more effectively to their business - to progress, learn, and add value to the economy and communities in which they live.

Our full-time team is based in Glasgow; other partners, selected for their expertise in specific areas are located across Scotland. WBS has sustained informal partnerships with organizations that represent management, enterprise and trades unions that allow us access to the most current and crucial development issues for businesses Government and communities.

We take an approach which is always to focus on the benefit of people developing at work and in their communities. This is based on our belief that the natural point of entry for any development of people must be a contextual one; that is we work with ‘what is’ and where people are in their life. NLP underpins all our work. (What is NLP?)

In designing our development interventions we assess and react to the group individual’s environment (attitudes, values, norms) and their current collective working environment.

All our interventions are bespoke and designed to meet the needs of our clients, with the aim of improving their working environment and delivery of their services.

WBS & Partners successfully renewed its IIP Standard May 2008.

WBS Director, Stephy Pordage is an IIP Panel Member.
