• Since our establishment in 1997 (as Workbase Scotland) we have developed over 12,000 employees, within more than 120 companies, ranging from small to very large enterprises.
• We work in the Private, Public and Voluntary and sectors to support the development of the skills, behaviours, and attitudes that allow employees to contribute more effectively to their business - to progress, learn, and add value to the economy and communities in which they live.
Our full-time team is based in Glasgow; other partners, selected for their expertise in specific areas are located across Scotland. The Board of Directors represent management, enterprise and trades unions that work in partnership to give us access to the most current and crucial development issues for businesses and communities.
• We take an approach which is always to focus on the benefit of people developing at work and in their communities. This is based on our belief that the natural point of entry for any development of people must be a contextual one; that is we work with ‘what is’ and where people are in their life.
• In designing our development interventions we assess and react to the individual’s environment(attitudes, values, norms) and their current collective working environment.
• All our projects and interventions are bespoke and designed to meet the needs of our clients and their employees, with the aim of improving their working environment and delivery of their services
